Bride Idiom Bangle - $58, Kate Spade (also comes in silver)
Looking for a great gift for your favorite bride? I think this Kate Spade bangle is really adorable. The outside inscription reads: “cue the confetti, cheers!, kiss the bride, tie the knot, toss the bouquet, cut the cake.” The inside reads “Happily Ever After.”
I am a bridesmaid in a wedding in May where I’ll be wearing this dress:
And the bride wants us to pick out our own blush patent shoes. Which is perfect, I’d love a pair of blush shoes for my collection anyways. I want something that would at least be decently comfortable - they’ll be a lot of standing around and running around that day I am sure. Here are my favorite options:
Nine West Carress, $79
Nine West Reaves, $65
Naturalizer Brazen Pump, $55 (my worry with these is that they look pink here, but they are labeled as “nude”)
Mossimo Peony Pumps, $29.99
Nine West Danee, $79
Dibba Del Rey Wedges, $59
I’m also looking at getting some blush flats for the reception, but first I’ve got to settle on the heels.
What do you guys think?
Bridesmaid Idiom Bangle - $58, Kate Spade
If you’re looking for a great gift for your bridesmaids or Maid of Honor (or even just a birthday gift for your bestie), this Kate Spade bangle may be just perfect!
Outside engraved “partners in crime, peas in a pod, sidekicks, birds of a feather, two of a kind, perfect pairs”; inside engraved “best friend ever”
Anonymous asked: Can you help me out? I’m looking for a rehearsal dinner dress. I bought one, but I’m not crazy about it anymore. I’d LIKE for it to be white/cream, but I’d do black or bright purple, too. I’m 6’1” and would like it long or at LEAST below the knee. I haven’t found anything under $85 and with the wedding coming up, I’d love to save money! THANKS!
I know how hard it is to find something long when you’re that tall. I think your best bet will be eShakti, because they do everything custom to your measurements. And if you decide against white, they have plenty of black and purple options. Here are some great options from their site (it is an extra $8 in addition to the prices listed below to have the garment custom made to your measurements):
Cotton Poplin Empire Line Dress, $55
Bow Neck Tied Poplin Dress, $55
Strapless Rosette Pin Dress, $55
Pleated Frill Trim Poplin Dress, $49
In addition, here are a couple other options:
White Tea Length Strapless Dress, $68, www.dressok.com
Ivory Strapless Tea Length Dress, $48.99, www.hellodresses.com
Long Soft Jersey Gown with Soutache Detail, $79, David’s Bridal
We know what you mean. An in-law (who is a Hokie grad) is getting married the first home game of this season and since we are on the field for the games, we can’t go. Our wedding is schedule for after the ACCCG and before the bowl game. Priorities.
This is so sad but…
My husband and I are going to a wedding this year on the same day as ND’s home opener (the grooms went to Penn and Gonzaga, so they obviously aren’t concerned about the football seasons of their own colleges). While I’d never myself plan a wedding on a Saturday during football season, I am also not going to miss a wedding for the sake of watching a game. And hey, I’ve got a phone to check the score ;)
